Dream Derby –Saturday, October 27^th  This unique and fantastically fun fundraiser will be held rain or shine with the mission of GROWTH (raising money for DreamWrights), CREATIVITY (put together a truly unique team to compete!), & RESPONSIBILITY (drive responsibly while using your brains to solve the challenges!) while LEARNING all about LIVE THEATRE. “High Performance Fun” for all ages!

Teams: Each team will be assigned a letter upon registration. You can create your team's theme based on that letter. Get Creative! Decorate, dress up and design something amazing. One team will be awarded the CREATIVELY CRAZY bragging rights.

Details: Each team has a limit of 4 cast/crew members. All ages welcomed (sometimes smaller bodies can complete tasks quicker!) Two AGE RAGE bragging rights will be awarded to the teams with the highest age team age count and the lowest.

Registration Fees: $5 registration fee per person plus $25 donation/or sponsorship per person. There are four (4) people per team = $120 per team/car. You can register separately or the entire team can register at one time. In addition, to help make this a successful fundraiser, each participant is encouraged to get individual sponsors. The team that raises the most money wins the MOST GENEROUS bragging rights! Upon completion of registration, each registrant will receive a sponsorship sheet, a sample email and an online link for donations. Individual racers that do not have a team of 4 may be assigned to a team.

GPS devices are allowed.

The Race  Saturday October 27^th
Arrive: 12:57 PM (Arrive late and your team will be penalized for every minute you are late!)
Race Starts at 1:27 PM
Start Location: DreamWrights Youth & Family Theatre
The race will end at 4:37 PM directly followed by food and fun at DreamWrights.

Each team will be given a start clue with a creatively unusual task.  Tasks are either mental or physical challenges throughout York County at locations of businesses that support DreamWrights.  Each time you complete a task you will be awarded points and receive your clue to the next location and task.  The team that acquires the most points by the end of the Derby receives the POINTS OF POWER bragging rights. Some tasks require full team member participation and others only a few.  You decide who will complete the task.  A good driver is needed.

After Party – Food, Awards, Celebration will be held at DreamWrights at 5:00 pm.

Bragging Rights awards:

MOST GENEROUS - team that raises the most money

FASTEST FLEET - team that crosses the finish line first with all tasks completed 

CRAZILY CREATIVE- best costumed team   (1^st,2^nd and 3^rd ribbons)

AGE RAGE(2) oldest & youngest teams (total ages of members)

POINTS OF POWER – team that gathers the most points
